An interesting article about some of the health issues around your local public pools, maybe something for our local health departments to read?

Hey everyone, are you still using this site? Do people still check in? I just bumped the "member" who was posting spam so hopefully we can get back to the business of promoting Public Health in CT. I think the first thing we need to do is get more members on here who want to be active. Anyone know any of the new crop of MPH students? If so, invite them to join.

Kate, I saw your post about your blog about the fundraiser and just wanted to mention, liver disease has touched many peoples lives. Someone very dear to me was given the gift of a new liver in August 2004 and it added two and a half more years to his life! It was a courageous and priceless gift.

Right now, he is up to $44. Every dollar counts and is also tax deductible (The American Liver Foundation is a 501 (c) (3)). I am putting the link below if you are interested.…
